Dio Launches Eco-friendly ‘Somest’ Korean Skin Care Range

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, NOV. 5, 2018 /PRNEWSWIRE-IREACH/ Seoul-based cosmetics company DIO Corporation has unveiled a new eco-friendly skin care range in time for winter. Consisting of five products, the SOMEST range harnesses natural ingredients to combat the negative effects winter conditions can have on the skin.

The ‘PHA Daily Peel Calming Toner’ uses Centella Asiatica leaf extract to remove dead skin cells and impurities from the skin. Using the PHA peeling substance, the formula also provides rich moisture essential during the colder months.

For dry and tired skin, the ‘Hibiscus Flower Essential Vital Toner’ contains pyruvic acid found within the hibiscus, ridding the skin of impurities and dead skills to leave a clear and bright complexion behind. The formula contains 14 herbal substances in total including lavender, rose hip, fennel, rosemary and lemon balm, all renowned for their rejuvenation qualities.

‘Protein Care Enriched Cream’ is an essential product boasting newly patented lactobacillus (milk protein extract) that permeates within the skin to deeply moisturize. With a consistency similar to Greek yogurt, the product is quickly absorbed into the skin and is useful for those with dry or weak skin.

For those with sensitive skin, the ‘Mild Care Mineral Salt Cream’ comes complete with an 8% mineral-filled salt content from the Dead Sea strengthening the skin and relieving the itching associated with dry skin.

Finally, the Mexico Nopal Cactus Moisture Foam harnesses the water storage capabilities of the cactus to thoroughly fill the skin with moisture and eliminate dryness.

“We are delighted to present the SOMEST range to the Korean market” explains Zino Park, Director of OpentheBeauty.com,  DIO Corporation.

“The SOMEST products harness the power of nature by incorporating pure ingredients that have been proven to have positive effects on the skin and also the environment. We will continue our work to develop leading Korean skin care products that help consumers realize healthy, glowing skin; naturally” he adds.

With an experience of exporting cosmetic products to over 50 countries, DIO has a strong commitment to ethical practices, donating proceeds to NGO “On Happy”, a special consultative status of the UN Economic and Social Council.
